I hate to say ‘I told you so,’ but I did. I told Uri Berliner too. Berliner laid waste to National Public Radio in an article in The Free Press. Everything he said – the one-sided news, the one-sided commentary, the woke take on everything, the refusal to admit failure, etc. - was instantly recognizable by anyone who’s tuned into NPR in the last decade.
"Black people and white people can think alike, and do at NPR but, weirdly, NPR is certain they don’t, hence its assumption that diversity of color = diversity of ideas."
This is the entire DEI scam. It's 100% purposeful by these organizations to claim the flag of Social Justice Victor by hiring people with the right skin color.
But that's not all they want. They also want everyone thinking the same thing. They hire for that just as much as skin color. And they tout that fact in coded language.
They then get to claim they are diverse when they know full well they aren't, and they hope no one finds out that they don't really want to be.
I've said it before: I could field a team of eight white guys and it would be more diverse than NPR and the rest of them.
Because that's my exact workplace: I work in engineering. My teams are full of white guys. But if you think we all think alike that's where you're way off.
